So you have a lovely bump growing and you wanna keep fit?

You're on the right tracks already because, experts agree, when you're expecting, it's really important to keep moving. Pregnant women who exercise have less back pain, more energy, a better body image and, post-delivery, a faster return to their pre-pregnancy shape.



Being pregnant and keeping fit doesn't have to mean making big time commitments or buying new equipment. I have everything you need and I can train you in the comfort of your own home, garden, favourite outdoor space or anywhere you like! Don't worry I won't have you doing any weird planks or sitting at a wall as these are not advised. I'll be your guide and train you, at your level.

Your individually designed pregnancy program will be carefully tailored to each trimester of your pregnancy with an emphasis upon maintaining core fitness, correct stretching, strengthening your postural muscles and your pelvic floor in preparation for giving birth to minimise the effects of pregnancy on your postnatal body.

All clients must check their health status with their midwife before starting an exercise program. Prior to committing to any sessions, a minimum 30 minute lifestyle consultation is essential (time to discuss your goals and needs or concerns). This is free of charge. We both need to know that the training I offer, is exactly right for you at this magical stage of your life!

Training clients with targeted pre/post-natal exercises, a postural stabilty focus or Pilates, requires a higher level of knowledge, qualifications and more importantly, experience in order to prepare relevant specific programs.

When you're pregnant, you CAN train but it is more about steady, gentle training. Specific a d relevant. You're not trying to lose weight or keep up with your pre pregnancy workouts. You don't need to progress, your fitness. You're progressing a pregnancy and now you've two hearts to look after!

Maintaining good physical, emotional and mental health is important at every life stage. During the four trimesters your body adapts to the differing demands place upon it. It's already doing incredible work! So avoid starting a new exercise regime. Instead arrange a short call with me and get some free professional guidance.

1-2-1 Prices:

A one hour wellbeing session is charged at £40
This one off lifestyle discussion supports any established wellbeing goals/identifies what to exercises or movements at work to avoid or adapt and what to focus on to put your mind at rest about whats best for you at your stage of pregnancy. It's a great pen an paper exercise where together we create a three point plan of action that you carry out independently.This usually involves a cuppa! We take time to practice a short mindful breathing exercise and relax too to ensure we're working from the purest of intention to get the most out of the hour. There's also the option to meet again and make revisions. I send out a medical screening google form beforehand and aim to reduce any level of worry, sign post you to other professional support if need be and or create space for you to be present with this part of the journey instead of experiencing frustration, feeling alone or being confused about what you can and can't enjoy. If you decide to work with 1-2-1s after this session, a Lifestyle Consultation is complementary as we'll have covered most of the details needed. There may need to be another chat to complete the consultation to get things started.

30 mins-1 hour (to be honest this chat is professional and, informal it can take place over a cuppa too) a lifestyle consultation to establish mutual goals, agreeing a relevant joint focused approach which forms the basis of your guided home practice and 1-2-1 tailored training

5 x 1 hour sessions £250
Ideally sessions are twice a week for best results and support but some clients prefer one a week depending on their schedule

10 x 1 hour sessions £500
Once a week or £475 to be taken twice weekly

You can train with me after 14 weeks and up until baby arrives. Working together we'll prepare for a strong mind and body during this pregnancy and, beyond. I'll help you make time to get clued up about what exercises are right for you and adapt them as your body changes. I'll advise on what movements to avoid and what to love in order to feel fitter, confident and comfortable. Choose fitness, Pilates or Yoga to enjoy.
As a mother of two having experienced two very different labours. One a traumatically beautiful cesarean leading to post natal depression and the other a vaginal delivery with every intervention but, a cesarean.
